Use with caution

Last week we stopped at Benjamin's Books in Rothesay and we found a toy that Sean had when he was a child. You spin the stick between your hands and it will take off and fly around the room. The downside is that you can't really control where it goes. As evidenced in the photo.

Simeon had a good laugh over it at least. By the way, does anyone know what these are called?

That's hilarious - Adam brought one of those home from the Grey Cup in November, and I had never seen one before (he had one as a kid). Ours is mild-mannered-ly sitting in a pencil mug next to the computer, though...

LOL!! :) I had one of those as well, but I cannot think what they're called. (A great help, I know!) Is it stuck in a heating duct?

It's actually impaling the shade on our floor lamp. It's not a noticeable slit and I also got the lamp for free when it was going to be thrown out - so no big deal.

Ah...thanks, Ruth. My sense of perspective must be a tad off...
