Gran'm'nan ;)

Camped out last weekend on the Queen of the Fundy Isles with four other couples - had a blast. Tented on a cliff, heard whales blowing in the night - here's a couple pics. Not of the whales, mind you... terribly difficult to photograph whales in the fog at midnight...

Ryan and me on the ferry, as seen by Sara on the upper deck.

Our wonderful campsite. We had three sites all in a row on this cliff, and between them we pitched our five tents.

T-shirt on a tree. Nothing like a good fog to leave your clothes fluffy and... damp.

...and that was the last anyone ever saw of Ryan Colwell.

Myself, halfway through my YMCA routine on Hole in the Wall.

Suppa :)

Dawn on Sunday was a definite highlight: having camped next to a very active foghorn all weekend, we woke to see the sun finally ushering the fog bank back out to sea...

...which meant that we could go sea kayaking! Us, another couple, and a guide (far left).

Andrea and Justin feeling weir-y. Nyuk nyuk nyuk.

Us as seen by the crew on the cliff.

My bow paddler approaching Hole in the Wall.

Yup, good times.

Nice post brudda! I miss...

BTW, in Korea if you do that "M" from the "YMCA" it means heart-shape, as in love.

Looks as if you guys had some kind of fun, though the routine on top of the Hole In The Wall looks more than a little dangerous, Sean.
The fog bank moving out to sea is SO COOL! <><

Beautiful. Wish we were there. I've been to Grand M'nan... for about 5 minutes. I piloted a two passenger plane to the island from Moncton in the middle of the night(don't ask, it's a long story), landed, jumped out onto the runway to relieve myself biologically, and then hopped back in and flew home. The island was gorgeous, based on the pitch blackness of the abandoned airfield.

So this is what you get for posting such gorgeous photos and telling great stories....nags, complaining that you don't blog enough. Ta, for this and the plaster story. n.

Actually, we're hoping that it will encourage Sean and Ruth to tell MORE stories...lol. Since we love to hear them so. :) *Ahem..hint, hint*
