Sean didn't think this picture he took was blog-worthy; I disagreed. So, like all good wives do when faced with conflict, I waited until he was out to post it :)
This is what I missed the most when I was in Yemen. It is very easy to recognize the beauty in a sandy beach with palm trees all around, but I think it takes a Maritmer to yearn after a landscape like this. It's home.

Oh I totally agree, Ruth!! I am somewhat surprised, though..it is SO blog-worthy!! :) I have yet to see a pic taken by your hubby that did not have something to redeem it.
Yeah, there's something in out blood, I think, that makes us love such scenes. I swim like a rock, and suck at sea-things, but it is still in my blood...LOL.

Now I'm homesick! What a beautiful picture - thanks for sharing it!
As a wife, I also agree with Ruth ;) Great shot.

I know what you mean about missing the Maritime landscape. I certainly missed the river and trees. It's good to be home again!

Hi guys,
Thanks for the comments. I simply thought the picture lacked a certain something - though not the place itself; that's Dipper Harbour you're looking at:) I stop at that spot every time I teach down there.

Your poet's soul speaking, perhaps? :)
