We're not up to much - housesitting in Quispamsis this week; I just found out I'll be teaching grade 4 next year. Here are a few things that caught my eye recently.
I found him on a tree... he's a fun guy...
Impending doom: an ill-fated worm (seen in the grass below the beak) struggles to enjoy his last 0.5 seconds of existence.

Ruth made whipped shortbread cookies again... nom nom nom. Here they look like wallpaper.

Whipped short-bread cookies...now THERE'S a cookie worth drooling over! :) They look very nice arranged as wall-paper...edible walls, lol. <><
And they remind me of wall-paper decorated with Tudor Roses that once graced the wall of Elizabeth I's private chambers at Whitehall and Greenwich Palaces. (A good example can be seen in Elizabeth with Helen Mirren.) Cool. <><
