A friend of ours recently told us that research is being done to find out if memory loss may be a side effect of Ritalin usage. Sean had ADD/ADHD and was prescribed Ritalin as a child.
Ruth: You know if that side effect for Ritalin is true, it would explain a lot.
Sean: What side effect?
Ruth: Memory loss.
Sean: Oh yeah, I forgot.
Case in point.

"Had" ADD/ADHD? I was under the impression that it was for life and managed by meds for life? It would explain some things, though, lol. <><
Well, that's partially true. It does stay with a person but doesn't always need to be medicated for a lifetime. Most people "learn to manage it." Reports of my own success in this endeavour... vary.
